Differences Between Men's and Women's Workwear
3
Women's workwear should be more tailored to the needs of female workers, right? But the truth is that women's workwear is generally a downsized version of men's workwear. But female workers indicated that they don't want the style of men’s work wear, since it will cause a little embarrassment during the work day.
To design a reflective garment for female workers, we first need to focus on the differences between female and male figures.

● 01 Bust differences
Due to the difference in shape between women and men, women's workwear will use more fabric in the bust area.
● 02 Shoulder widths are different
Women have narrower shoulder widths. If a woman wears a man’s cloth, it will appear too loose.
● 03 Sleeve holes are different
The shape and position of the sleeve holes are slightly different for women and men. The differences may be minor, but it is important that the sleeves are comfortable to wear.
● 04 Different hip shapes
Women’s shapes of the hip circumference are more curved. One-piece women's overalls or work trousers will usually have a wider hip circumference.
